General
In accordance with the provisions of the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the Ordinance to the Federal Act on Data Protection (OADP), the Telecommunications Act (TCA) and other data protection regulations, such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter GDPR), we hereby inform you of how we handle your personal data. Please note that the following information may be updated from time to time.
Pursuant to Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the federal data protection provisions (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person has the right to the protection of their privacy and to protection against the misuse of their personal data. The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. In cooperation with our hosting providers, we endeavour to protect the databases as
well as possible against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or falsification.
Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to guarantee complete protection of data against access by third parties.
By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of data in accordance with the description below. In principle, this website can be visited without registration. Data such as the pages accessed, the names of files accessed, and the date and time are stored on the server for statistical purposes, without this data being directly linked to you personally. Where personal data (such as name, address or email addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis wherever possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
Processing of personal data
Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. A data subject is a person in respect of whom personal data is processed. Processing encompasses any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and methods used, in particular the storage, disclosure, collection, erasure, retention, alteration, destruction and use of personal data. We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. Where and to the extent that the EU GDPR applies, we also process personal data on the following legal bases in conjunction with Article 6(1) GDPR:
(a) Processing of personal data with the consent of the data subject.
lit. b) Processing of personal data for the performance of a contract with the data subject and for the implementation of corresponding pre-contractual measures.
lit. c) Processing of personal data to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject under applicable EU law or under the applicable law of a country in which the GDPR is wholly or partially applicable.
lit. d) Processing of personal data to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person.
(f) Processing of personal data to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of third parties, unless the fundamental rights, freedoms and interests of the data subject override those interests. These legitimate interests include, in particular, our commercial interest in being able to provide our website, information security, the enforcement of our legal claims and compliance with Swiss law.
We process personal data for as long as is necessary for the specific purpose or purposes. Where longer-term retention obligations apply due to legal and other obligations to which we are subject, we restrict processing accordingly.

With SSL/TLS encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send to us as the website operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar. When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Server log files
The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These include:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to review this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.
Third-party services
This website may use Google Maps to embed maps, Google Invisible reCAPTCHA to protect against bots and spam, and YouTube to embed videos. These services provided by the US-based company Google LLC use cookies, amongst other things, which means that data is transferred to Google in the USA; however, we assume that, in this context, no personal tracking takes place solely through the use of our website. Google has committed to ensuring adequate data protection in accordance with the US-EU and US-Swiss Privacy Shield frameworks. Further information can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de). A general objection to the use of cookies for online marketing purposes can be lodged for a wide range of services, particularly regarding tracking, via the US website http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU website http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. Furthermore, the storage of cookies can be prevented by disabling them in your browser settings. Please note that in this case, not all functions of this website will be available.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you provide in the form, including the contact details you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of any follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

However, the possibility of errors cannot be entirely ruled out, and we therefore cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy or timeliness of the information, including journalistic and editorial content. The publisher therefore expressly distances itself from all third-party content that may be relevant under criminal or civil law or that is contrary to public decency.
Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps. This enables us to display interactive maps directly on the website and allows you to use the map function conveniently. When you visit the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant page of our website. This occurs regardless of whether you are logged in to a Google account or do not have a Google account. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the customisation of its website. Such analysis is carried out in particular (including for users who are not logged in) to provide tailored advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this right, you must contact Google. For further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by Google, as well as details of your rights in this regard and options for adjusting your privacy settings, please visit: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
Google Remarketing
This website uses the remarketing function provided by Google Inc. This function is used to present interest-based advertising to website visitors within the Google advertising network. A so-called “cookie” is stored in the website visitor’s browser, which enables the visitor to be recognised when they visit websites belonging to the Google advertising network. On these websites, the visitor may be shown advertisements relating to content that the visitor has previously viewed on websites using Google’s remarketing function. According to Google, no personal data is collected during this process. However, if you do not wish to use Google’s remarketing function, you can generally deactivate it by adjusting the relevant settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising via the Advertising Network Initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
Google reCAPTCHA
This website uses the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland – “Google”). The purpose of this service is to distinguish whether an input is made by a human or by automated, machine-based processing. The query involves the transmission of the IP address and, where applicable, other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. For this purpose, your input is transmitted to Google and processed there. However, your IP address will be truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA is not merged with other Google data. Your data may also be transferred to the USA in the process. For data transfers to the USA, there is an adequacy decision by the European Commission, the “Privacy Shield”. Google participates in the “Privacy Shield” and has submitted to its requirements. By submitting the query, you consent to the processing of your data. Processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR with your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent prior to its withdrawal. Further information on Google reCAPTCHA and the associated privacy policy can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the data controller for this website is located outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland, data processing by Google Analytics is carried out by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited are hereinafter referred to as “Google”. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. This website also uses Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is carried out via a user ID. If you have a Google user account, you can deactivate the cross-device analysis of your usage in the settings there under “My data”, “Personal data”. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data held by Google. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics has been extended to include the code “_anonymizeIp();” to ensure that IP addresses are collected in an anonymised form. This means that IP addresses are processed in truncated form so that they cannot be linked to a specific individual. Should the data collected about you be capable of being attributed to a specific individual, this will be immediately ruled out and the personal data will be deleted without delay. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website and internet usage to the website operator. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, we would like to point out that, in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: Disable Google Analytics. Furthermore, you can also prevent the use of Google Analytics by clicking on this link: Disable Google Analytics. This will store a so-called opt-out cookie on your device, which prevents the processing of personal data by Google Analytics. Please note that if you delete all cookies on your device, these opt-out cookies will also be deleted; this means you will need to set the opt-out cookies again if you wish to continue preventing this form of data collection. The opt-out cookies are set per browser and computer/device and must therefore be activated separately for each browser, computer or other device.
Google WebFonts
This website uses web fonts provided by Google to ensure consistent font display. When you visit a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its cache to display text and fonts correctly. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

This website uses features provided by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. When you visit our pages containing Facebook plugins, a connection is established between your browser and Facebook’s servers. Data is transmitted to Facebook as part of this process. If you have a Facebook account, this data may be linked to it. If you do not wish this data to be linked to your Facebook account, please log out of Facebook before visiting our site. Further information can be found in Instagram’s privacy policy: http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/
Within our online offering, we use the marketing services of the social network LinkedIn, provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (“LinkedIn”). These services use cookies, which are text files stored on your computer. This enables us to analyse your use of the website. For example, this allows us to measure the success of our advertising and display products to users that they have previously shown an interest in. Information collected includes, for example, details of the operating system, the browser, the previously visited website (referrer URL), the webpages visited, the offers clicked on, and the date and time of your visit to our website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is transmitted in pseudonymous form to a LinkedIn server in the USA and stored there. LinkedIn therefore does not store the name or email address of the respective user. Instead, the aforementioned data is only associated with the person for whom the cookie was generated. This does not apply if the user has permitted LinkedIn to process data without pseudonymisation or if they have a LinkedIn account. You can refuse the use of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that you may then be unable to use all the features of this website. You can also object to the use of your data directly with LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guestcontrols/retargeting-opt-out. We use LinkedIn Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. All LinkedIn companies have adopted the Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure that data transfers to the USA and Singapore, which are necessary for the development, implementation and maintenance of the services, are carried out lawfully. Where we request consent from users, the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Otherwise, the legal basis for the use of LinkedIn Analytics is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Third-party provider information: LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland; Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

This website incorporates features of the “YouTube” service. “YouTube” is owned by Google Ireland Limited, a company incorporated and operating under Irish law, with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, which operates the services within the European Economic Area and Switzerland. Your legal agreement with “YouTube” consists of the terms and conditions available at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/static?gl=de&template=terms&hl=de. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and “YouTube” regarding your use of the services. Vimeo
You can prevent tracking by Google Analytics by using the opt-out tools that Google provides for certain web browsers. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by Google Analytics and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
Newsletter
The following information explains our newsletter, the registration, dispatch and statistical analysis procedures, and your rights to object. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to receive it and to the procedures described, and consent to us processing your personal data for the purpose of sending emails.
Use of AcyMailing
The newsletter is sent via ‘AcyMailing’, which is integrated into the website.
Content of the newsletter
In the newsletters we send, we provide information about products, current projects or other topics relevant to us. We only send newsletters with the consent of the recipients or where permitted by law.
Double Opt-In and Logging
Subscription to our newsletter is handled via a so-called double opt-in process. This means that after you subscribe, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. This confirmation is necessary to ensure that no one can subscribe using someone else’s email address. Newsletter subscriptions are logged to provide proof of the subscription process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes storing the time of both the subscription and the confirmation, as well as the IP address. Changes to your stored data are also logged.
Subscription Data
To subscribe to the newsletter, simply provide your email address. Optionally, we ask you to provide your first and last name as well as your title. This information is used solely to personalize the newsletter.
Statistical Collection and Analysis
The newsletters contain a so-called “web beacon,” which is a pixel-sized file that is retrieved when the newsletter is opened. When the newsletter is accessed, technical information—such as details about your browser and operating system—as well as your IP address and the time of access are collected. This information is used to improve our services based on technical data or to analyze target groups and their reading behavior based on their access locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times.
Our statistical analyses also include tracking whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened, and which links are clicked. While this information can technically be linked to individual newsletter recipients, it is not our intention to monitor individual users. Rather, these analyses help us better tailor the information and offers in our newsletter to the individual interests of each recipient. The web beacon is deleted when you delete the newsletter.
To prevent the use of the web beacon in our newsletter, please configure your email program—if this is not already the default setting—so that HTML is not displayed in messages. On the following pages, you will find instructions on how to make this setting in the most common email programs:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Mail für Mac (“Load embedded content in messages”)
Cancellation/Withdrawal
You can cancel your subscription to our newsletter at any time, which means you can withdraw your consent. A link to unsubscribe from the newsletter can be found at the end of every newsletter. After unsubscribing, your data will be deleted except for your email address. The email address will be stored in a block list and used only to ensure that we do not send any further emails to your email address.
Online Store / Web Store / Customer Forms
We process our customers’ data in accordance with the data protection regulations of the Federal Government (Data Protection Act, DSG) and the EU GDPR as part of the ordering process in our online store, web store, or customer forms, in order to enable them to select and order the products and services of their choice, as well as to facilitate payment, delivery, and fulfillment. The data processed includes master data (inventory data), communication data, contract data, and payment data, and the individuals affected by the processing include our customers, prospective customers, and other business partners. The processing is carried out for the purpose of providing contractual services in connection with the operation of an online store, billing, delivery, and customer service. In this context, we use session cookies, e.g., to store the contents of the shopping cart, and persistent cookies, e.g., to store the login status. The processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) (execution of order processes) and (c) (legally required archiving) of the GDPR. The data marked as required is necessary for the establishment and performance of the contract. We only disclose the data to third parties in connection with delivery, payment, or within the scope of legal permissions and obligations. Data is processed in third countries only if this is necessary for the performance of a contract (e.g., at the customer’s request for delivery or payment). As a general rule, this data is not disclosed to third parties, unless such disclosure is necessary to pursue our claims or there is a legal obligation to do so pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR. Deletion occurs after the expiration of statutory warranty and comparable obligations; the necessity of retaining the data is reviewed at irregular intervals. In the case of statutory archiving obligations, deletion occurs after their expiration.
Our Services
We process our customers’ data in accordance with the federal data protection regulations (Data Protection Act, DSG) and the GDPR within the scope of our contractual services. In doing so, we process master data (e.g., customer master data such as names or addresses), contact data (e.g., email, phone numbers), content data (e.g., text entries, etc.), contract data (e.g., subject matter of the contract, term), payment data (e.g., bank details, payment history), usage data, and metadata (e.g., in the context of evaluating and measuring the success of marketing measures). The data subjects include our customers, prospective customers, and their customers, users, website visitors, or employees, as well as third parties. The purpose of the processing is to provide contractual services, handle billing, and provide customer service. The legal basis for processing is derived from Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contractual services) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (analysis, statistics, optimization, security measures). We process data necessary for the establishment and fulfillment of contractual services and note the necessity of its disclosure. Data is only disclosed to third parties if this is necessary in the context of an order. When processing data provided to us in the context of an order, we act in accordance with the client’s instructions and the legal requirements for data processing on behalf of a client pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR, and we do not process the data for purposes other than those specified in the order. We delete the data upon expiration of the statutory warranty and comparable obligations. The necessity of retaining the data is reviewed at irregular intervals. In the case of statutory archiving obligations, deletion occurs after their expiration. For data provided to us by the client in connection with an order, we delete the data in accordance with the terms of the order, generally upon completion of the order.
Administration, Financial Accounting, etc.
We process data in accordance with the data protection regulations of the Federal Republic of Germany (Data Protection Act, DSG) and the GDPR in the context of administrative tasks, the organization of our operations, financial accounting, and the fulfillment of legal obligations, such as archiving. In doing so, we process the same data that we process in the context of providing our contractual services. The legal bases for processing are Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This processing affects customers, prospective customers, business partners, and website visitors. The purpose and our interest in the processing lie in administration, financial accounting, office organization, and data archiving—that is, tasks that serve to maintain our business operations, fulfill our responsibilities, and provide our services. The deletion of data related to contractual services and contractual communication corresponds to the data specified in these processing activities. In this context, we disclose or transfer data to tax authorities, advisors such as tax consultants or auditors, as well as other service providers and payment service providers. In addition, based on our business interests, we store information about suppliers, event organizers, and other business partners, e.g., for the purpose of contacting them at a later date. This data, which is mostly business-related, is generally stored permanently.
Changes
We may change this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. The current version published on our website applies. To the extent that the Privacy Policy is part of an agreement with you, we will notify you of any changes via email or by other appropriate means in the event of an update.
